Whitehead Golf Club
Whitehead Golf Club is situated in the pleasant coastal town of Whitehead on the eastern shore of County Antrim, where the land narrows between Belfast Lough to the east and the hills of East Antrim to the west. The parkland course plays to 6,040 yards over gently undulating terrain with mature trees providing definition and challenge throughout. Several holes afford attractive views across Belfast Lough towards the County Down coastline.
The club has maintained a strong tradition of welcoming visitors throughout its history and green fees of £20–£35 make it one of the most affordable parkland rounds in the region. Whitehead is well-served by the Belfast-Larne railway line, with the town's station within walking distance of the golf course — making it accessible without a car. Carrickfergus Castle, one of the best-preserved Norman castles in Ireland, is just 8 miles south along the lough shore.
