Massereene Golf Club. Antrim Town.
Massereene Golf Club is a fine parkland course on the eastern shore of Lough Neagh, Ireland's largest lake. Excellent visitor facilities, an attractive setting, and green fees from just £25 make it a popular choice for golfers exploring inland Antrim.
Massereene Golf Club
Massereene Golf Club occupies a beautiful setting on the shores of Lough Neagh, the largest freshwater lake in Ireland and Britain. The parkland course plays to 6,603 yards through mature trees, with the Sixmilewater River defining several holes and providing both scenic interest and tactical challenge. The course was originally designed to challenge low-handicappers but is very accessible for visiting golfers of all standards.
Located on the outskirts of Antrim Town and just off the M2 motorway, Massereene is highly accessible from Belfast (approximately 20 miles) and from the north coast. The club maintains excellent visitor facilities throughout the year and the green fee of £25–£40 represents outstanding value for a course of this quality and setting. Antrim Town itself has several good restaurants and hotels, making Massereene a natural stopping point on any County Antrim golf tour.
